Embarrassing Latest

In Cambodia in Feb, I had a conflict in my meds. See, you can get most everything over the counter there — talking to a doctor is optional. So I was doing it myself, with some online research. But they use some different ingredients locally, and, well — I had a conflict, lost my mind, and went insane for a little while.

I was convinced that They were out to kill me, and I was running around this country like a fool for a couple months. Hard on my family and friends; not too easy on myself. I don’t remember the details of the belief system I developed at the time, but I deeply apologize to any of the honest folks — law enforcement, doctors, clerks; whoever — who I in my lunacy accused of being In On It. As my family kept telling me, I’m Just Not That Important, and I’m looking forward to getting back to being unimportant. Sorry, guys.

PS – “What meds were you taking, Conrad?”

I was taking an anti-malaria drug with, as I say, one particular non-standard ingredient.  The conflict was with a drug I’m usually too lazy to take, to control herpes, which I have on my mouth; but I had an outbreak, started taking the drug, had the conflict, and went mad.
